Your Woodwind Journey

Simple Steps to Success.

1.
Choose Your Instrument

Decide whether you’d like to study the flute, clarinet, saxophone, or oboe. If you're unsure, we offer trial lessons so you can explore which instrument resonates with you.

2.
Set Your Musical Goals

Together with your teacher, identify what you want to achieve—learning to read music, ensemble participation, solo performance and preparing for auditions.

3.
Begin Weekly Lessons

Regular, one-on-one sessions ensure steady progress. Lessons include technique (breathing, embouchure, fingering), repertoire, ear training, and musicality.

4.
Practice & Feedback

You’ll be guided with assignments and exercises suited to your instrument. For example: long‐tones and articulation for oboe, scale work and dynamic contrast for flute.
