Instruments We Teach

Classic Choices, Modern Instruction

We provide instruction for three of the most popular brass instruments—each offering its own unique voice and role in bands and ensembles.

Trumpet

A bright, bold brass instrument known for its versatility, projecting melodies in jazz, classical, marching band, and pop music settings.

Trombone

Features a distinctive slide, strong tone, and expressive range—essential in jazz bands, orchestras, and modern brass ensembles alike.

Baritone

Known for its rich, mellow tone, the baritone adds depth to bands and is ideal for lower brass-loving musicians.

Andree Cordova

Andrée Cordova is a Venezuelan trumpet player from Caracas who brings a rich international musical background—and a deep love of teaching—to his students. Born into a family of musicians, Andrée began his training at a young age and grew up immersed in both classical and Latin musical traditions. He has performed around the world as an orchestral musician and soloist, gaining experience with leading ensembles such as Venezuela’s El Sistema and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra. These experiences allow him to help students understand not just how to play the trumpet, but how to listen, blend, perform with confidence, and grow as well-rounded musicians. Andrée is especially passionate about music education. He enjoys helping students build strong fundamentals, develop a beautiful tone, and gain confidence whether they are preparing for school band, youth orchestra, auditions, or simply playing for enjoyment. His teaching style blends structure, encouragement, and real-world musical insight, helping students progress at a pace that feels both challenging and rewarding. Now based in the United States, Andrée actively performs with the Space Coast Orchestra and The Villages Philharmonic while teaching trumpet through several youth and community music programs. He is committed to guiding students toward technical skill, musical understanding, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
