A classically trained guitarist with 20+ years of experience, Miguel blends technical skill with a creative, student-centered approach. His background includes performing across genres—from classical and rock to pop and folk—composing for film, and collaborating with international artists. Miguel’s calm demeanor and supportive teaching style help students feel at ease and motivated to learn. Whether working on fundamentals or exploring improvisation, he encourages each student to grow at their own pace while discovering their unique musical voice. His well-rounded musicianship and passion for teaching make him a favorite for students of all ages.

A dynamic multi-instrumentalist and passionate educator, Mia brings 14 years of playing experience and a unique ability to connect with students of all backgrounds. Her warm, encouraging teaching style blends musical skill-building with creativity and emotional intelligence. With a background in behavioral therapy, Mia is especially adept at supporting neurodivergent learners and customizing lessons for different learning styles. She incorporates games, songwriting, and student-led exploration into her lessons, making music both accessible and exciting. Mia’s genuine enthusiasm and focus on individuality help students feel confident, inspired, and capable of expressing themselves through the instrument they love.

John Hatcher

Music Educator

John Hatcher is a highly experienced music educator who loves helping students of all ages and abilities grow as musicians. With over 30 years of teaching and performing experience, John brings a deep knowledge of guitar (electric, acoustic, and bass), banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, piano, and drums to his lessons. John teaches everything from rock and blues to bluegrass, jazz, classical fingerpicking, and more. He uses both traditional notation and tablature to help students build solid skills in technique, rhythm, theory, and creative expression. Known for his easygoing personality and ability to connect, John creates a supportive learning environment where students gain confidence and have fun making music. In addition to teaching, John has an extensive performing and recording background, having worked with major studios and shared the stage with many well-known bands across the country. He holds a music degree from the University of Central Florida.

He specializes in working with beginners and younger students, creating a positive environment where kids feel comfortable, excited, and motivated to learn. Josh strives to make every lesson something students look forward to—whether they’re exploring their voice, learning guitar, or building a strong musical foundation. He believes every student is capable of growth and loves helping them discover their unique sound and creativity along the way. In addition to teaching, Josh is actively involved in worship ministry, where he leads and serves through music. His goal is not just to teach technique, but to inspire a genuine love for music and help students grow in confidence both in and out of lessons
